We are looking for a Data Engineer to join the Deep Turnaround Team of Royal Schiphol Group.

As a Data Engineer Deep Turnaround you will be involved in preventing flight delays by integrating real-time data with flight operations using AI-driven solutions. How exactly you accomplish this? That’s up to you. We trust in the way you set the lines and follow them. You put your talents to work at:

Crafting business logic that seamlessly integrates flight information with our live events (tackling the stream-stream joining challenge) and derives further value out of our raw detections.
Collaborating with our Data Scientist colleagues to make real-time streaming predictions.
Handling the ingestion of flight data from multiple airports.
Taking charge of the intricate multi-airport data landscape—the beating heart of our operations.

You will be part of utilizing AI-driven computer vision to monitor aircraft turnaround processes in real-time, optimizing efficiency and preventing delays. Join us to be part of a global rollout at major airports.

A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer science / Software engineering or related field.
1-3 years of relevant software development experience with Python.
Experience with Git.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and/or Spark.
Experience with Machine Learning.

€ 4401 to € 6128 gross per month (Schaal 11).
A 13th month (year-end bonus).
An iPhone 14 or Samsung Galaxy S22. The choice is yours.
The possibility to work 4 x 9 hours in a 36-hour work week.
