Connecting your world

As Infrastructure Engineer, you will enable real-time, data-driven airport operations by maintaining and scaling the Deep Turnaround infrastructure-preventing cascading delays and inefficiencies in critical airport processes. This is a both an architectural and hands-on role. Deep Turnaround is growing rapidly and its infrastructure too. You will be working in a small team of engineers where you will lead the infrastructure. Together with the team you need to come up with solutions and tooling for our challenges and implement them too. And how you approach this? That’s up to you. We trust in the way you find a solution for every problem. You put your talents to work at:

·        Find and architect new solutions for current and future challenges.

·        Maintaining and optimizing Azure and Kubernetes infrastructure for Deep Turnaround.

·        Deploying and integrating new tools requested by engineers and scientists.

·        Assisting with cloud, on-premise, and CI/CD issues for seamless operations.

·        Replacing legacy components with scalable, modern alternatives.

·        Collaborating with Schiphol teams and clients to enhance product performance.

 

Deep Turnaround is expanding to more airports worldwide, offering opportunities to work on cutting-edge AI and cloud projects with international partners. You’ll have autonomy in tool selection and process improvements, directly impacting global airport efficiency.

·        A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; and 10+ years of professional engineering experience.

·        Advanced experience with Azure and Kubernetes (AKS), including networking.

·        Proficiency in ArgoCD, Helm, Kustomize, and Kubernetes tooling.

·        Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and/or GitHub.

·        Strong skills in infrastructure automation with Terraform and/or Ansible.

·        Experience deploying applications consistently in cloud and on-premises environments.

 

You get this

    € 5432 to € 7535 gross per month (Schaal 13).

·        A 13th month (year-end bonus).

·        The possibility to work 4 x 9 hours in a 36-hour work week.

·        An NS Business Card that fully reimburses travel by public transportation to and from work.
