As a Data Domain Steward you support Schiphol’s business by taking exciting steps to become more data-driven, supporting the vision of a truly Autonomous Airport. You can help connect the Netherlands with the rest of the world. How you take care of this? That’s up to you. We trust in the way you can distinguish between main and secondary issues and make connections. . You put your talents to work at:

  • Establishing and enforcing data policies. 
  • Negotiating and implementing Data Delivery Agreements for data sources. 
  • Identifying critical data elements, monitoring data quality, and analyzing deviations to find the root cause. 
  • Overseeing the resolution of data quality issues, coordinating improvement initiatives, and developing methodologies for data management and governance. 
  • Warranting data privacy and data protection. 
  • Rolling out of data literacy training & education within your domain. 
  • Managing metadata and its relationships in the Enterprise Data Catalog and Business Vocabulary.

 

Within the DnA department you will work for the Security, Safety & Environment business domain. As part of the Safety & Environment team, your work contributes to create a safe and healthy environment for passengers, employees, and partners by adhering to regulations, implementing preventive measures, and managing crises effectively. In the Security team, your work will play a crucial role in controlling all people and goods on our premises, managing operations 24/7 in a dynamic environment.

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant data experience in role as data steward, consultant, business analyst or data analyst.
  • A background in business information management, data management, governance, data analytics or something similar.
  • Experience in data quality, data (root-cause) analysis, process management, DQ-dimensions, DQ rules.  
  • Certification DAMA DMBOK or DCAM or willing to obtain certification.
  • Experience working in Collibra is a pre.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma is a pre.
You get this
  • € 4981 to € 6911 gross per month (Schaal 12).
  • A 13th month (year-end bonus).
  • The possibility to work 4 x 9 hours in a 36-hour work week.
  • An NS Business Card that fully reimburses travel by public transportation to and from work.
