  • We're seeking a motivated Data Analyst to join our Group Functions Domain team at the Royal Schiphol Group. In this role, you'll partner with departments like HR and Finance from within DnA, using data to enhance our processes and decision-making.

For our Data team, we are looking for a Data Analyst who will be working on prototyping dashboards, reports, and other data visualization tools to support decision-making. You can help connect the Netherlands with the rest of the world. As our Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and identify data-driven solutions.
  • Use business opportunities and scoped data solutions to create compelling value cases.
  • Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends in complex data sets.
  • Leveraging your expertise in Python, PowerBI, and other data visualization tools to translate business problems into data-based solutions.

In this role you can distinguish between main and secondary issues, make connections. Also, you always comes up with solutions, new ideas. Other than that you have:

  • a MSc or PhD in a relevant field, such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Econometrics or Business Analytics or alike. 
  • Proficiency with data tools, Python is a must and proficiency with SQL, and PowerBI is a plus. 
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English is a requirement for this role.
  • Familiarity with performance management concepts such as KPI trees and business performance discussions.
  • Ability to translate business needs into value cases, leveraging data opportunities to improve processes. 
  • Basic understanding of data technology, including data engineering, management, and AI. 
  • Management skills, including stakeholder and agile project management. 
  • Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to present data-driven outcomes effectively.

  • A competitive salary ranging from € 4.594,- and € 6.374,- based on 36 hours (scale 12) depending on your knowledge and experience.
