  • The role of the FP&A Manager covers Royal Schiphol Group wide planning, forecasting and performance management responsibilities which create the core for the professional business finance function. It is critical to steer the company overall financial performance towards the optimal financial results, both short and long term. It is pivotal to challenge the business performance trajectory, past and future, in the context of the overall Royal Schiphol Group financial results. It is critical to financially manage the complexity of the business which is unique in several aspects.

As a Manager IPPM you are being in the lead of companywide planning, forecasting and performance management activities. How you achieve results in this? That’s up to you. We trust in the way you can distinguish between main and secondary issues and make connections. You put your talents to work at:

 

  • Ensures Royal Schiphol Group wide planning and performance cycle resulting in sound financial plans and results being delivered to the shareholders.
  • Independently creates long range financial planning models and orchestrate planning activities based on key business drivers and KPIs.
  • Provides insights into past and future financial and business performance of the company, both short and long term.
  • Develops analytical models to solve complex business challenges when it comes to integrated business planning and performance management.
  • Ensures insights created or enabled by the role contribute to ‘Support best value for money decisions’ and ‘Increased Business Partner Role’ – core two ambitions in Finance Vision 2025.
  • Ensures Royal Schiphol Group wide planning and performance cycle resulting in sound financial plans and results being delivered to the shareholders-
  • Controlling of the Workforce costs companywide to ensure delivery of the ‘workforce‘ strategy in accordance with the financial requirements.


In this position you are managerial responsibility for leading the team, amongst other comprising of team members professional development, target setting, performance reviews

  • Finance or Economic degree (additional IT related degree is a plus).
  • Professional qualification is a must such as RC, CIMA, CMA.
  • Work experience (10-15+ yrs).
  • Various businesses finance experience. Extremely analytical and strong strategic thinking acumen.
  • Affinity with data, analytics, financial systems is a must.

  • Up to € 9350 gross per month (Buiten-CAO 4-D).
  • Availability bonus.
  • Participation in the ABP pension fund.
  • 14.4 diversity hours. You can use those hours to have (extra) time off on a holiday of your choice.
